<Poem>
鴛鴦怕捉竟難親
鸚鵡雖籠不著人
何似家禽雙白鶴
閒行一步亦隨身

<Translation>
Lovebirds dread capture
So much that you can't approach them.
You can cage a parrot
But it remains aloof from man.
How can parrots compare
With those two white cranes at my home
Who stroll idly along
Step by step at my side?
<End Translation>
<Formatted Translation>
Lovebirds fear capture so you can't approach them,
you cage the parrot but it stays aloof from man.
How can they compare with those two white cranes at my home?
They idly stroll along step by step, right by my side.
